What is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?
The most scared I’ve been in a movie that I can remember was when I was a kid and I saw Night of the Living Dead in the backseat of my mom’s Volkswagen at a drive-in. I was like seven or eight years old, and it was a double feature with the Exorcist. And the Exorcist, because I love monsters and those kind of practical effects, I was more fascinated and developed a crush on Linda Blair. But Night of the Living Dead was a very ominous, haunting and brutal movie, and I remember specific scenes that have stayed with me all these years. Since then I’m more fascinated in – I love creepy stuff. I don’t go for psycho movies or people that run around killing each other.
“My parents were both really enthusiastic horror zealots,” the musician said, “and they took me right along for that ride.”

EW » Are there any plans for another album with Myles and the Conspirators?
Slash » We’re actually working up the next one as we speak. Myles has a new album coming out and then a tour, so it’ll be after that. But I’m working on material, I’ll send it to him, and he’ll come in and record. It’ll be out early next year.
Was that part of what made you produce this film, or an added bonus?
I love the combination of great visuals and great music, when those two connect it’s beautiful. When it came to scoring this movie, I didn’t perform a lot of it. It was orchestral. That’s what fit for this movie. Every script and every story is different. I got into the mood and the production of the score. I just loved being involved and having a say and the experience to be possibly right. It’s a really cool score. There’s an original song that Miles Kennedy from my band and I made.
SLASH Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators will broadcast their last summer concert LIVE from the House of Blues in Las Vegas on Thursday, July 25 at 9:00p PT/Midnight ET via EVNTLIVE.
