Has anyone purchased a Gold VIP ticket recently? I am interested in knowing if the 'meet & greet' includes being able to take a picture with Slash and/or getting an autograph too?

I've done a few M&G with Slash in past and they always take a pic of you with him and he will sign something if you bring it. If it's a guitar however it would be best to call the venue first and check. Have fun. I'm always Rock Star struck when I meet him, but he is so very nice.

I did the meet and greet in Seattle recently. It was cool, they take a pic for you and you get one item signed. It was fun, but very quick. There's no time to talk or really even ask a question. I am totally glad I did it, but for 500 it's pretty pricey.

I did the Meet & Greet in Indy but was not part of the VIP package. I was told I would be emailed a photobucket password/link to view pix. Anyone know what that might be or could anyone connect me with someone who was at the Indy show who might be able to help me out?

I first went to see Slash back in June at Hammersmith Apollo. It was the best experience a 17 year old could have! However, my brother took me and we had to head back straight after the concert and was not aware that I could get something signed if I waited around! So my friend agreed to go with me a second time in Brixton Academy in London on the 12th of October and it was the best decision of my life! It was the most EPIC concert & night ever!!! I got there around 1pm and was in the o2 priority line to start with, so we got let in around 3-5 minutes before the ordinary queue got let in! I was in the second row but we had made friends and so managed to move my way into front row right between Myles and Slash! It was touching distance and amazing. I know anyone would have KILLED to be in my position! They played Welcome to the Jungle which was a nice surprise, Myles looked and pointed at me as I was singing along to Back from Cali with him and then smiled at me at the end! And confetti was let loose flying above the crowd at the climax of Paradise City, all from the front view! Was just amazing. At the end of the concert they were throwing their guitar picks and drumsticks and Slash threw one of his at me and I CAUGHT it with one hand!!! & I started hyperventilating and screaming YEEEESSSS!!!!! And he laughed and chuckled at my reaction lol. Anyway, this time I wasn't going to let anything get in the way of meeting Slash and getting something signed by him! I thought of brining my Apocalyptic Love album but I knew it would be too risky, as it does get hectic and pushy at the front and I ended up losing my bronzer lol! But anyway, just after an hour’s wait outside round the stage door... he came out and within 10 seconds I met him and got my ticket signed! It was AMAZING and surreal to speak to him, even if it was for 10 seconds! He liked my iphone case too and I touched his jacket hehe! He was going to shake my hand but I got so nervous and this girl told me we weren’t allowed to touch him! How annoying lol bitch. But anyway my friend recorded us speaking and it was just epic. We went out the queue and stood in awe just taking in how lucky we were. We started to move and make our way home with a couple of the Portuguese people we met when Brent Fitz came out the wrong door and bumped right into us! I was shocked at what was happening and before I know it, a brave girl from our group asked if he could sign his drum stick that he gave her the second time haha! He said yes and was lovely about it and he said follow me as we started to make our way round the other side of the building up to where the freaking TOUR BUS WAS!!! Only about 5-10 fans were there and it was just amazing. He dropped off his bags and came back outside and started talking, signing and taking pictures with everyone! We were all so calm it was amazing! I asked him later on if Myles will be coming out and he said yes! So we continued to chat and wait around and before I knew it out came MYLES! I was so happy I couldn’t even take it in! He went in to drop off his bags and guitar into the tour bus and came outside. I spoke to what felt like a long long time because everyone was just chilling and talking! But I did have a one on one with him hehe asking about upcoming dates and their music! We took pictures and he also signed my ticket! (Now I wished I brought my album with me!) I thought to myself ahh I wish we could meet Todd too as I was standing by the door and guess what? Out comes Todd fucking dammit KERNS! I was the first person he came up to and spoke to! After a while of speaking we shook hands haha and he asked my name! Once I told him he looked at me and said "now its official!" HAHA! So freaking epic. Once we took pictures and signed stuff with him too for ages, I just had to go back to Myles and talk to him some more because I knew this was such a lucky opportunity that the others missed out on! By now it was about 1.30/2am I think and Slash was done signing so the boys went in and we had to stand back as the legend made his way to the bus! They waved at us and were off!!! We didn’t get to meet Frank I think he was inside he didn’t come out... but THIS is a story I will be telling for years on! I couldn’t have dreamt a better way to have met these guys. This all happened because Fitzy came out the wrong door! God bless that night haha. I know before I went I was looking at cool stories about how people had met Slash and the boys, and now I have my own EPIC one! Thank you anyone for reading, if you haven’t met them YET I hope this has helped you to feel like anything’s possible! What made me believe that meeting Slash could be real was that a girl once told me to keep dreaming, and I have proved her wrong! I even had 3 dreams back to back on the week of the concert that I meet Slash AND Myles! Well thank you all and goodnight! Xx
