    I just received the prototype AFD combo Marshall. This is a rockin' little 5 watt powerhouse of an amp!! I'm recording w/it presently. Iii|; )'


    Oh man... A little 5W Marshall is exactly what I don't want them to release because I know I'll want it! And it's going to be hard to justify getting another amp  :lol:

    You do realise what 5 watts is...how the fuck is it an "afd" 5 watt? You're telling me you can get an appetite sound with only 5 WATTS? Get the fuck outta here.

    You can tune down the afd 100 to 0.1 Watt. I'd say if you dont play stadiums or blow your and your neighbours ears out, you will come closer to the afd sound with 5 watt. Btw you cant compare 5 Watt transistor with 5 Watt tube...

    I bet if Slash recorded a few tracks with that 5W thing, you could make it sound almost like AFD...

    It's often easier to make a small amp sound big in a mix than to make a big amp sound big.

    yep... also debating having to add another amp to the collection because of that tweet. it would be easy to carry around than the 1/2 stack...

    5W would be fitting for my skill level. Pity it'll cost a bazillion if they actually start selling them.
