Slash and Perla renewing vows

CONGRATULATIONS!

They say that you should have ‘something old’ when you exchange vows with the man you love.
And Slash’s wife Perla Ferrar has just the thing.
She renewed vows with her famed Guns N’ Roses guitarist husband, real name Saul Hudson, in the same wedding dress she married him in 10 years ago.
The flamed-haired beauty wore her original Richard Tyler designed frock for their beach ceremony on the island of Ibiza in Spain, yesterday.

Todd Kerns interview

On whether he’s ever played with a guitarist as capable as Slash before:

“I’ve known a lot of technically proficient players, and I’ve known a lot of very skilled musicians, but there’s always that sorta X-factor that comes in with guys like Slash where it’s kinda like there’s something more there. Not only is he a great guitar player, he has this whole other thing going on that kinda comes with the package and creates this whole other giant entity. I think that there’s a real trick between being a great musician and being a rock star or a legend or whatever the hell it is; there’s something else there. And he’s one of those kinda guys.”

Slash Doesn’t Understand The ‘Hysteria’ Around GN’R

“I don’t really like to spend time talking about them, but the interesting thing is the strong legacy about each band. The level of hysteria around the band – or should I say the name Guns N’ Roses – has continued. I don’t totally understand that.”

“Velvet Revolver happened because Duff [McKagan] and I got together with Matt Sorum and Scott Weiland, and it was so good and intense we decided to carry it on. So trying to follow in Guns N’ Roses’ footsteps wasn’t an issue for us at all, because it’s been so long since Duff and myself had been in the band.”
