Slash now using Mogami Cables on tour

Slash Paris

The Stoke-on-Trent native released ‘Apocalyptic Love’ featuring Miles Kennedy and the Conspirators in 2012 and is currently on a world tour using Mogami Guitar Cable. Utilising a high-density shield and conductive PVC layer to eliminate handling noise, the cable features an oxygen free copper core that results in a very low-noise, transparent and accurate cable.

What does Slash have to say about Mogami cables? “The main thing about these cables is that they endure everything I put them through, which is Hell.”

Interview about the Marshall SL-5 Development

guitariste-magazine-may-2013-coverGnR France posted this transcript of an interview with Slash and Marshall engineer Santiago Alvarez.

Are there any new Slash-related Marshall products in the pipeline ?
Slash: I can’t divulge what that is. It’s cool, though, and is nothing to do with the AFD.
The AFD was really a homage to all the different guys out there, fans and whatnot, who’ve been trying to build that #39 amp that I had for, like, five minutes. It was being put in to recreate that sound until years later. I was like, ‘what if Marshall just put out that amp again?’ And that’s basically what we did. So, it was really in the spirit of those guys, and now i’m moving on to some different ideas.
